Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the services provided by Adkins Home Inspection (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By contacting us, scheduling an inspection, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Adkins Home Inspection provides professional residential and commercial home inspection services. Our inspections are visual in nature and are conducted in accordance with applicable standards of practice. We do not offer engineering services or provide guarantees regarding the condition of any property.
2. Agreement to Communication via Call and Text
By providing your phone number and submitting our contact or scheduling forms, you expressly consent to receive phone calls and text (SMS) messages from Adkins Home Inspection. These communications may include:
- Appointment scheduling confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Service updates and follow-up messages
- General communications related to your inspection
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You may opt out of text communications at any time by replying STOP. You may opt out of phone calls by requesting removal from our contact list.
3. Inspection Agreement
Prior to conducting any home inspection, a separate written Inspection Agreement will be provided and must be signed by the client. That agreement governs the specific terms, scope, limitations, and liability associated with your individual inspection. These Terms of Service are supplementary and do not replace or supersede the signed Inspection Agreement.
4. Limitations of Liability
Our inspections are non-invasive visual assessments. We are not responsible for conditions that were not visible or accessible at the time of inspection, including but not limited to:
- Concealed defects or damage hidden behind walls, ceilings, or floors
- Issues that arise after the date of inspection
- Pest infestations (unless a separate pest inspection is performed)
- Environmental hazards such as mold, asbestos, or radon (unless specifically contracted)
Our liability is limited to the cost of the inspection fee paid. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
5. Use of This Website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not use this site to transmit harmful, offensive, or unauthorized content. We reserve the right to deny access to any user who violates these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and reports generated by Adkins Home Inspection, is the property of Adkins Home Inspection and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our express written permission.
7. Privacy
Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
